Charn Sidhu (he/him/his) is a member of the 2024-2025 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered with firm. Charn received his JD from Thompson Rivers University. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. At law school, he placed first in the Denton’s Business Law Negotiation Competition and the Dean’s Moot Cup by the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. Charn also served as a member of the Academic Planning and Priorities Committee, held a position as a Teaching Assistant, and was a proud member of his law school’s competitive HoopLaw and ice hockey teams.
Prior to attending law school, he graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor’s of Commerce specializing in International Business. While at the University of Victoria, he placed first in the KPMG Capsim Business Simulation Competition.
Charn likes to spend his spare time working on his family’s blueberry farm, playing sports, working out, and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.
