Aamir Chherawala is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. His practice focuses on corporate and securities law matters. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Aamir was both a summer and articling student with the firm.
Aamir received his J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. At business school, he was placed on the Dean’s List during his first year and made it to the final round of the McKinsey Case Competition for Lifeline Syria. Aamir graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Criminology from Simon Fraser University where he was also placed on the President’s Honour Roll. During the last year of his degree, he successfully defended his thesis on University Students’ Perceptions of Vancouver’s Supervised Injection Site. Prior to attending law school, Aamir worked as an Insurance Agent for American Income Life and spent a summer doing legal research and accounting work for 123 Dentist.
