Kristen Lai is an associate in the Litigation Group at Cassels and a member of the firm’s e-Discovery team. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Kristen’s practice focuses on e-Discovery law and information governance. She conducts technological training and manages internal and external review projects. Kristen also provides trial and regulatory support in preparation for litigation. Prior to joining Cassels, Kristen articled at the Crown Law Office – Civil, with the Ministry of the Attorney General. In this role, she represented the Province of Ontario in complex litigation matters.
Kristen obtained her J.D. from Western University. During law school, she volunteered at Community Legal Services providing pro bono legal advice and representation to disadvantaged members of the London community. While studying at Western, Kristen was also a captain of the women’s varsity fencing team and competed for Western three years in a row at the Ontario University Athletics championships.
While completing her law degree, Kristen concurrently earned an Honours degree in Business Administration at the Ivey Business School.
