Tom Isaac recently appeared on CBC’s The National for a segment titled “Cowichan National Wins Lawsuit Arguing Land Parcel Should Be Returned.”
Notes CBC News: “The BC Supreme Court has ruled the Cowichan Nation successfully argued a parcel of land in BC’s Lower Mainland should be returned to them. The province’s attorney general says it will challenge the title ruling.”
Tom underlines that this decision:
“Puts a serious cloud of uncertainty and unpredictability not only on the lands involved in this particular decision but all fee simple lands in British Columbia subject to Aboriginal title claims.”
