Thomas Isaac recently sat down with Jordan Armstrong of Global News BC for a segment titled “Calls to Repeal DRIPA Legislation.”
The calls come after a recent ruling from the BC Court of Appeal on Indigenous mining rights that could potentially impact many areas of BC law.
On the question of if BC needs to repeal, change, or keep the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act as is, says Tom: “Based on where British Columbia finds itself today, there is only one answer, DRIPA needs to be repealed.”
