Tamara Prince, Jason Holowachuk, and Thomas Neville have authored “Climate Change Litigation in Canada: A Primer,” published ion the winter issue of The Advocates’ Journal.

Write the authors: “Climate change litigation is emerging in Canada but has become relatively more frequent in other countries. Currently, wildfires, extreme weather events, and other palpable effects of a changing climate appear more acute and frequent than ever, invigorating public debate about individual rights and obligations in the context of ‘good governance’ duties of the state. How will society meet and redress the current challenges? One way will be through the judicial system.”
