The interview focused on Sheldon’s relationship with Eugene Melnyk, former owner of the Ottawa Senators, and Sheldon’s work to oversee the sale process of the team in 2023 after Melnyk’s death.
Over the course of 20 years, Sheldon was an alternate governor of the team, a confidant of the owner, and a trusted advisor.
