At Cassels, we believe that we have a responsibility to assist charitable organizations with legal services that could otherwise remain out of reach. We are proud of our relationship with Ronald McDonald House British Columbia & Yukon (RMHBC), and we are particularly happy to have recently assisted RMHBC in its acquisition of property near BC Children’s Hospital as part of our pro bono program.
RMHBC provides families with children receiving medical treatment in Vancouver with a place to stay while they are away from their homes – a place where they can sleep, enjoy home-cooked meals, do laundry, and be supported by other families. With the acquisition of this additional property near the BC Children’s Hospital, RMHBC will be able to embark on a new project to build a brand-new house to provide comfort to more families in need.
