Writes PaRR: “Transport Canada is on track to complete its public interest assessment of Air Canada’s proposed acquisition of Transat by 2 May as previously announced.”
Says Michael: “We’re not going to know the full scale of the impact of the pandemic by 2 May.” He also noted that Transat stopped flights as of 1 April and that it is as yet unknown whether it or Air Canada can survive the crisis without a bailout.
