Arjun Toor has been profiled by the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law.
The profile looks at Arjun’s career journey, and how U of A’s International Trained Lawyer Pathway (ITLP) was part of that journey.
ITLP helps students with international designations become accredited to practice law in Canada.
Arjun credits his family, the ITLP program at U of A, and his Cassels mentor – Doug McCartney – as important parts of finding his path to corporate law.
“Articling [at Cassels] has been fantastic. Doug’s a really great mentor. He’s put me on amazing files, with very good clients. And he’s trusted me with a lot of responsibility, constantly pushing the boundaries of what I’m capable of. Because of U of A, I was ultimately able to find this fantastic mentor. Somebody’s willing to give you a chance when you have this program on your resumé.”
