Davit Akman has been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the ABA Antitrust Law Section’s Global Private Litigation Committee for the 2023-2024 ABA year.
The ABA Antitrust Law Section is the world’s leading community of competition, consumer protection, and data privacy professionals. The Global Private Litigation Committee focuses on private antitrust enforcement, primarily litigation, around the world. The committee tracks and highlights current and influential efforts in private antitrust enforcement outside of the United States and compares those activities to civil litigation in the United States. While international civil regimes are at various stages of development, the committee focuses on the important aspects of each regime and analyses the interplay as global recovery and defense strategies emerge.
