Cassels litigation partner Chris Horkins has been appointed to a subcommittee of Ontario’s Civil Rules Review Working Group (CRR).
The CRR was formed in 2024 by Ontario’s Attorney General and the Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and tasked with conducting a comprehensive review of Ontario’s Rules of Civil Procedure to identify proposed changes aimed at increasing efficiency and access to justice and reducing costs and delay in civil litigation. The members of the CRR are drawn from the judiciary and leading members of the Ontario bar and legal academia. Chris looks forward to contributing to the CRR’s important work.
