Tamara Prince joins as a partner in our Litigation Group in Calgary. Tami’s practice focuses on complex corporate/commercial litigation, including matters involving energy and environmental law, construction, commercial leasing, class action defence, competition, pensions, tax, securities, employment defence, and franchise disputes. Over the course of her career, Tami has represented a wide range of corporate clients, including those involved in the global energy sector, petrochemicals, commercial property, telecommunications, mining, global transportation, manufacturing, franchising, and construction. She has appeared before all levels of court on behalf of her clients, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Derek R. Elliott joins as a partner in our Real Estate & Development Group, also in Calgary, where he will serve as a trusted advisor on a range of residential and commercial projects. In his practice, Derek acts for banks, pension funds, trust companies, REITs, Crown corporations and private institutional clients in connection with the development, acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of all major asset classes.
Ryan Hornby joins as a partner in our Business Law Group in Toronto, offering particular expertise in the mining industry. Ryan maintains a general corporate practice which includes corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and advising on various matters relating to corporate governance.
