Sophie Campbell

Sophie Campbell (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2024-2025 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered with the firm. Sophie holds a Juris Doctor from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Lincoln Alexander School of Law.

While attending law school, she is proud to have co-founded the Health Law Society and Advocacy Society, volunteered with Kensington Bellwoods Community Legal Services, and served as the Faculty of Law Student Senator on TMU’s Senate for the 2023 to 2024 term. She worked as a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing course and full time in her final semester as a law student for the Office of the Chief Justice of the Ontario Court of Justice.

Prior to law school, Sophie graduated with a BScH in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and a MSc in Global Health from McMaster University, which led to her work conducting research in global health law with York University’s Global Strategy Lab.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, and going to restaurants with friends and family.
