Misha Apel (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2023-2024 Articling Student class at Cassels. Misha graduated with her JD from Western Law in June 2023 and was previously a member of the 2022 Cassels Summer Class.
While in law school Misha was President of the Jewish Law Students’ Association, Co-founder of the Students for Truth and Reconciliation Committee, an intern at the Dispute Resolution Centre, a researcher for a UN Women project on Legislative Reform and an Orientation Week Chair.
In her first year of law school, Misha worked at the City of Hamilton as a Law and Policy Analyst in the Licensing and By-Law Services division. Before law school Misha deferred her acceptance to Western Law to partake in the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme where she worked in a non-partisan capacity with members of provincial parliament.
Misha enjoys exploring parks with her dog, trying new yoga classes, and catching up on the latest TV shows in her spare time.
