Matthew Stephen serves as counsel in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups at Cassels. Matthew’s practice focuses on private corporate transactions, including acting for private equity houses, other institutional investors and management teams on a range of corporate work, including investments, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, reorganizations, acquisitions and disposals. He has extensive experience acting on cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions across a number of sectors.
Matthew qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2011 and prior to joining Cassels practiced as a senior associate in the London office of a premier international law firm.
