Jasmine Qin

Jasmine Qin is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Jasmine’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and general corporate and securities law matters. Jasmine represents investment dealers and public and private companies across a range of industries, with particular emphasis on mining and cannabis. Prior to studying law, Jasmine worked as a financial risk analyst for a large global conglomerate.

Jasmine is a graduate of the combined J.D./Honours Business Administration program at Western University. At law school, she volunteered as a Case Manager for the Western Business Law Clinic, a unique non-profit initiative that provides early stage and start-up companies with legal assistance. She also served as a member of the Western Heart & Stroke Club and Western Consulting Club. While at Western, Jasmine received a number of awards, including winning the Ivey Innovation Challenge and being a finalist in the Boston Consulting Group Case Competition. Prior to studying law, Jasmine worked as a financial risk analyst for a large global conglomerate. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Jasmine was both a summer and articling student at the firm.
