Golsa Hashemi-Ghochani

Golsa Hashemi-Ghochani (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2023-2024 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered with the firm. Golsa recently graduated from Western Law in June 2023. Golsa went on exchange at the University of Leeds in her third year of law school. During her time at Western, she was actively involved in the community where she served as a teaching assistant and volunteered as the director of sponsorship for the Western Technology Law Association. Before joining Cassels, Golsa worked as a research assistant for Dean Erika Chamberlain at Western Law.

Prior to law school, Golsa graduated with distinction from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. During her undergraduate degree, Golsa was involved in Toronto Metropolitan University’s community where she served as a mentor and worked as a student development representative to help gather alumni funding for the university. Between her third and fourth year of undergraduate studies, Golsa worked as a project coordinator at an environmental and infrastructure company where she coordinated all aspects of construction projects.

In her spare time, Golsa enjoys alpine skiing, exploring new restaurants with friends, camping, and taking hot yoga classes.
