Carlo Rescigno (he/him) is a member of the 2025 Summer Student class at Cassels. He is pursuing an JD/HBA dual degree from the Faculty of Law and Ivey Business School at Western University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
Prior to joining Cassels, Carlo interned in the compliance and legal departments of a global financial institution, where he refined his analytical capabilities and supported projects to drive operational efficiencies across the firm’s North American offices. He has also served as a Research Assistant at Western Law, where he contributed to ongoing academic initiatives in various fields of study, including corporate taxation and statutory interpretation.
At Western, Carlo has been actively involved in student governance and serves as Managing Editor for the Canada-United States Law Journal. In his spare time, Carlo enjoys reading the classics and playing golf. A lifelong vocalist and pianist, he also enjoys spending time developing his musicianship and performing with friends.
