Cassels is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristin Taylor to Managing Partner and Mark Bennett to Executive Chair.
Kristin is the Chair of our Employment & Labour Group and has served as Deputy Managing Partner for the past four years. Apart from being recognized as a leading practitioner of employment law, Kristin has received Lexpert Zenith Awards to recognize her work as founder and past Chair of the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee and advancing women. She has also developed and implemented strategies to meet the firm’s commitment to an inclusive culture for diverse talent within its entrepreneurial environment.
Mark’s appointment to the role of Executive Chair will allow him to continue to oversee the strategic direction of the firm and continue his capital markets and mining practice. During his term as Managing Partner, Mark has seen Cassels grow to over 250 lawyers in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary, with diverse and innovative practices delivering the excellent service our clients require, most recently within the challenges of the global pandemic.
