On July 13, 2021, Camino Minerals Corporation closed its acquisition of all of the shares of Minera Maria Cecilia Ltd (“MMC”), a British Virgin Islands company that holds rights to the Maria Cecilia property in the Ancash region of Peru. Camino acquired MMC from Stellar Investment Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Denham Capital, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $4.6 million, paid in common shares of Camino. Concurrently with the closing of the acquisition, Stellar subscribed for an additional $500,000 of Camino’s common shares.
Camino also recently completed a $7.5 million non-brokered private placement, with net proceeds from this financing to be used in part for exploration on the Maria Cecilia property.
