On August 31, 2021, The Boston Beer Company, Inc., through a wholly-owned subsidiary, signed agreements with WeedMD RX Inc., a subsidiary of Entourage Health Corp., and Peak Processing Solutions, a subsidiary of Althea Group Holdings Ltd., to launch a new portfolio of non-alcoholic cannabis-infused beverages in Canada.
Under the terms of the five-year development, supply, manufacturing, sales and marketing agreements, Boston Beer and Peak will develop the beverages using WeedMD’s input biomass and WeedMD will be the distributor of the cannabis-infused beverages in Canada.
Boston Beer began in 1984 brewing Samuel Adams beer. Their portfolio of brands also includes Truly Hard Seltzer, Twisted Tea, Angry Orchard Hard Cider, Dogfish Head Brewery, Angel City Brewery and Coney Island Brewing.
