On March 14, 2023, Avant Brands Inc. closed its acquisition of the remaining 50% equity stake in Avant Brands K1 Inc. The aggregate purchase price was approximately $4.56 million which was by the issuance of a promissory note in the principal amount of approximately $1.45 million and the issuance of 18,137,780 common shares in the capital of Avant Brands. Prior to closing of the acquisition, Avant Brands owned 50% of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Avant Brands K1.
