On February 18, 2020, Alexco Resource Corp. (TSX: AXU) announced the successful completion of the sale of its subsidiary environmental business, Alexco Environmental Group (AEG) to AEG’s executive management for $13.35 million.
AEG was established and remains as a private company focused on all aspects of mine reclamation, including deployment of innovative remediation strategies. Alexco Resource Corp. will continue to execute the clean-up of historical mines in the Keno Hill Silver District under its existing contractual arrangement with the Government of Canada.
