Stephanie Fernandes is an associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Group at Cassels. Stephanie maintains a broad practice, which includes representing debtor companies and court officers in domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings. Stephanie is also developing experience in receivership proceedings and distressed M&A transactions. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Stephanie articled with the firm.
Stephanie earned her L.L.B. from the University of Warwick in 2020, where she was an active member of the Warwick Law Society. Prior to joining Cassels, Stephanie was a legal intern at Rogers Communications where she worked across the Sports & Media and Telecommunications Business Units and Litigation team. In this role, Stephanie provided extensive legal support in a variety of contexts, ranging from sports contracts to consumer disputes and preparing for settlement conferences.
