Sophie Teversham (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Litigation Group and Employment & Labour Group at Cassels. Sophie first joined the firm as a summer student in 2020 and was a member of the 2021-2022 Articling Student class. Sophie graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Windsor. During law school, Sophie was an active member of her student community, working as a caseworker for Community Legal Aid Windsor and as a volunteer for both Pro Bono Students Canada and Windsor Law’s Peer Mentorship Program. In her third year Sophie was a finalist in the Canadian Client Consultation Moot and placed third nationally.

Prior to studying law, with distinction, Sophie graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Global Development from Western University. Sophie has previous experience in the non-profit industry working as the National Program Coordinator for Childhood Cancer Canada. She has completed fundraising and strategic planning internships with Huron University, Kids Help Phone and Aboriginal Legal Services Toronto.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys yoga and spin classes, travelling to new places and cooking new recipes.
