Simi Solebo is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels and a member of our Franchise Law team. Simi specializes in the areas of franchising, advertising, and marketing practices and data privacy. Simi is currently an adjunct professor at Schulich School of Business, where she co-teaches an introductory business course to all first year students. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Simi summered and articled with the firm.

Simi is a graduate of the J.D./M.B.A program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. During her time at law school, Simi held an executive position on Osgoode’s Black Law Student Association and has been an active member of the student community, where she served as Equity officer and sat on Osgoode’s Student Caucus and Diversity Committee. During her third year of law school, Simi interned at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, in Geneva.
