Scott McLeman is a partner in the Banking & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels. His work focuses primarily on financial services, real estate, and diversified lending. Scott offers expertise in a broad range of banking and real estate areas. Highly regarded as a legal and strategic advisor to his clients, he acts for creditors (including banks and other financial institutions) and debtors in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including public and private acquisitions, asset-based loans, and term and revolving facilities, in both domestic and cross-border contexts.
Scott also acts for public and private corporations in providing legal assistance with general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, borrowings, and commercial transactions.
