Robert Hamilton is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Robert’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, and general corporate matters. Robert advises both public and private clients from a broad range of sectors, including technology, energy, real estate, cannabis and high growth industries. He has experience assisting clients on acquisitions and dispositions of shares and assets, partnership and joint venture structures, equity and debt offerings, and drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
Robert received his J.D. from the University of British Columbia. Prior to law school, Robert obtained an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University, where he graduated with distinction.
