Randall Blom is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. His practice focuses on general corporate and commercial law and securities transactions, with particular experience in the mining sector and offers expertise in offering securities and reporting in the United States under the Multijurisdictional Disclosure System (MJDS). Randall also holds certificates in Mining Law, and in Public-Private Partnerships, both from Osgoode Hall.
Randall previously served as legal counsel at a mining company specializing in the production of gold and silver. He also has experience advising junior mining companies at a boutique securities firm.
Randall completed his LL.M. in Energy and Infrastructure Law at Osgoode Hall after obtaining his LL.B. & B.C.L. degrees from McGill University. During law school, Randall was a student senator, served as Senior Editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law & Policy, and spent a semester at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Before attending law school, Randall obtained a M.A. degree in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St. Andrews.
