Michael Rosenbloom is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Michael provides corporate commercial and securities law advice on a variety of matters, with an emphasis on corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Michael offers experience assisting local and international clients with public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, and public and private mergers & acquisitions. He also advises public issuers on stock exchange listings, continuous disclosure obligations and other regulatory and corporate governance matters. He acts for clients in established and emerging industries.
Prior to joining Cassels, Michael served as an associate at a full-service international law firm, where he completed a secondment to the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.
Michael received his J.D. from Queen’s University. While there, Michael served as an academic tutor and peer mentor and as the President of the Queen’s chapter of a charitable Canadian organization focused on increasing access to justice for underrepresented communities. Prior to studying law, Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University, graduating with high distinction.
