Kieran May is an associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Group at Cassels. Kieran’s practice focuses primarily on domestic and cross-border commercial reorganizations, including proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, as well as informal restructuring proceedings. Kieran’s experience also includes domestic and cross-border lending transactions, and corporate financings.
Kieran completed his J.D. at the University of Toronto. In the fall of 2019, he spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. Prior to law school, Kieran graduated with distinction from the Western University, where he received his Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Before joining Cassels as an associate, Kieran was both a summer and articling student at the firm.
