Julia Pierdon is a Land Use Planner in the Municipal, Planning and Environmental Group at Cassels. She assists the Group to prepare and submit various development applications under the Planning Act, conduct research and technical analysis of land use planning policies and regulations, research and write planning reports and opinions and assist with preparation for hearings before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and Toronto Local Appeal Body.

Prior to joining Cassels, Julia worked as a Senior Planner at a private planning consulting firm where she was responsible in managing various development applications and assisting and providing expert witness opinion before the Local Planning Appeal on behalf of various developers in the GTA. She holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Planners Institute.
