Jesse Tepperman is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Jesse’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, securities, corporate finance and general corporate and commercial law. Before joining Cassels as an associate, Jesse summered and articled with the firm. During this time, Jesse gained valuable experience assisting on a wide range of corporate transactions involving both public and private companies.
Jesse is the first student to receive a Canadian and American Dual J.D. Program and M.B.A. between the University of Windsor/University of Detroit Mercy and the Odette School of Business. At Windsor Law, he served as the Vice President of Academics for the Student Law Society, an executive chair of the Social Orientation Committee, and as a consultant to the Career Services Office.
Jesse graduated from McGill University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Judaic Studies, where his undergraduate thesis focused on Jewish filmmaking in Hollywood. Prior to joining Cassels, Jesse worked as an analyst for ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Management and as the managing director of the Windsor International Film Festival. Outside of the office, Jesse is involved with multiple charitable organizations including the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and the House Toronto.
