Forrest Finn (he/him/his) is an associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Group at Cassels. Forrest’s practice focuses on bankruptcy proceedings, receiverships, and commercial restructuring. He advises and represents trustees, debtors, directors, and creditors and is frequently involved in proceedings pursuant to the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Forrest also practices in commercial litigation and has appeared before the Supreme Courts and Courts of Appeal of British Columbia and Yukon.
During law school, Forrest received the Rotman@Law certificate for business and won the corporate finance award. He was also an active member of the student community, where he helped found the First Generation Network and worked as a research assistant.
Prior to rejoining the firm, Forrest summered and articled with Cassels and practiced as an associate in the Restructuring Group at another national firm.
