David Singh is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. David’s practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, private equity investments and general corporate and commercial law. He offers experience in a wide range of industries including cannabis, mining, and technology, and advises on transactions involving both public and private companies.
David received his J.D. from Queen’s University in 2017 and completed an exchange semester with the University of Sydney in the Fall of 2016. Prior to studying law, David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McGill University, and went on to complete a Master of Urban Planning at McGill, where his research focused on transnational environmental regulatory regimes in the mining industry. During his master’s degree David was awarded a Graduate Excellence Scholarship. Before joining Cassels as an associate, David summered and articled with the firm.
In his spare time, David loves to travel, and to date has been to over 40 countries across six continents.
