Caroline Cusinato is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Caroline’s practice focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and general corporate and securities law matters. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Caroline summered and articled with the firm.
Caroline is a graduate of the Dual J.D. program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, where she obtained both Canadian and American law degrees. During her time at law school, Caroline completed a judicial internship at U.S. Federal Court, and went on to work as a student attorney for the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic for low-income litigants. She also served as the elected Dual J.D. Class Vice President. Caroline holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature, with a proficiency in French Language from the University of Michigan.
Prior to studying law, Caroline was a high-level synchronized figure skater, representing Canada in international competitions, and as a two-time national champion athlete at the University of Michigan. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys attending spin classes and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
