Andrew Dilts is a member of the Business Law Group at Cassels. Andrew advises private and public companies on corporate and securities law issues, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formation, and private and public financings. He has supported clients on stock exchange listings, search fund acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance matters, and corporate reorganizations. Andrew has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors, and frequently works with international companies seeking to establish operations in Canada.

Andrew embraces an approach of servant leadership in Canada’s business community, where he has served as an ambassador and committee chair with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, founding member and chair of Vancouver Startup Week, president and chair of the board of the Yaletown Roundhouse, and an engineering law instructor at the School of Energy of the British Columbia Institute of Technology, among others.

While in law school, Andrew served as editor-in-chief of the University of British Columbia Law Review and valedictorian of his graduating class at the UBC Faculty of Law. Prior to joining Cassels, Andrew served as a lawyer for the Vancouver office of a leading Bay Street law firm, and later for one of Canada’s largest full-service firms.
