Andreas Arvanitis is a member of the 2022-2023 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered with the firm. Andreas graduated from Western Law where he volunteered as a Case Manager at the Western Business Law Clinic. In his 1L summer, Andreas completed a Summer Research Fellowship at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation (CIGI), where he focused his research on transfer pricing and the taxation of digital companies.
Prior to studying law, Andreas graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University. As a graduate student, Andreas focused his research on Intelligence and National Security and worked in lobbying at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, procurement at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, and in international trade at the Mission of Canada to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium.
In his spare time, Andreas enjoys spending time in his small Peloponnesian hometown in southern Greece, rides ATVs, boxes, surfs, golfs, plays tennis, and watches Formula 1 and Champions League.
