Shannon Scrocchi is a 2019-2020 articling student in the Toronto office of Cassels . She joined the firm as a summer student in 2018. Shannon recently graduated from the J.D./H.B.A. combined degree program with Western Law and Ivey Business School. During her time at law school, Shannon was actively involved in Pro Bono Students Canada through the Community Outreach Program. She was also responsible for organizing and overseeing the Volunteer Internship Program through the Ivey Not-For-Profit Club. In addition to these extracurricular commitments, Shannon remains involved as a volunteer for Camp Oochigeas where she worked for two summers during law school. Prior to entering the combined degree program, Shannon studied psychology at Western University. During this time, she became very involved in the community through initiatives such as the Out of the Cold Soup Kitchen and the Stand By Me mentorship program run through the local school board. Outside of her academic and volunteer commitments, Shannon spent much of her free time playing sports and travelling. After spending a semester on exchange at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, Shannon has now travelled to over 40 countries, crossing six of the seven continents off her bucket list.
