Robert (Rob) Kligman is the research partner at Cassels. In this role, Rob provides advice to members of the firm, other firms, and in-house legal departments on discrete legal issues. Much of his work involves matters in litigation, running the gamut from torts, insurance issues and commercial matters to human rights, the environment and constitutional law. Rob is the author of Bias and co-author of Environmental Harm – Civil Actions and Compensation and has written a number of articles on a variety of topics. His article on Judicial Immunity was recently included in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime online resource database. Rob also assists others with their articles and speeches. He is actively involved in training and mentoring students and promotes current awareness across the firm, including writing and circulating summaries of recent cases and legislation of interest. He has a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
