Kwaku Tabi is a partner in the Real Estate & Development Group at Cassels. Kwaku practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate including project development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and secured lending. He is also engaged in residential real estate for power of sale matters. Kwaku has completed the Osgoode Certificate in Cannabis Law and Regulation. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Kwaku was both a summer and articling student at the firm. Kwaku also serves on the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity and Student Committees.

Kwaku graduated in 2015 with a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, he was elected as a Student Caucus representative and was an executive member of both the Black Law Students Association and the Entertainment and Sports Law Association. He was also a volunteer with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS). In his final year, he participated in an exchange program at Hong Kong University in Hong Kong. Prior to attending law school, Kwaku received an Honours Degree in Criminology from York University and worked for a financial institution for a number of years.
