Kelly Lee

Kelly Lee is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Her practice focuses on corporate and securities law matters. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Kelly was both a summer and articling student with the firm.

Kelly received her J.D. from Queen’s University, where she was awarded Queen’s Law course prizes in Introduction to Legal Skills, Mental Health Law, and International Refugee Law for highest academic achievement. She was actively involved in the Queen’s Law community. She served as the Coordinator of the Upper Year Buddy Program and was the Commissioner of the Equity and Diversity Committee. She was a teaching assistant for the first-year course on legal skills and was also the student coach and researcher for the 2018 Julius Alexander Isaac Diversity Moot.

Prior to law school, Kelly obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Religion from the University of Toronto. She went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree, with a focus on Jewish studies, from the University of Toronto. She also earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, where she was awarded the Commendation Award for outstanding achievement. She is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Prior to joining Cassels, Kelly worked in educational publishing as a contributing author and researcher.
