Jackson Phillips is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Jackson maintains a corporate and commercial practice centered on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues for a broad range of public and private corporate clients. Prior to joining Cassels, Jackson worked at a boutique law firm in Toronto that specialized in corporate and commercial work for renewable energy and clean tech clients and completed his articles at a large international law firm where he was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission – Corporate Finance Branch.
Jackson received his J.D. from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law graduating with honours and completing the Business Law Specialization program. He also completed an international exchange to the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China in his third year of studies.
