Brittany Schaefer is an associate in the Business and Franchise Law Groups at Cassels. Brittany’s practice focuses on franchising, licensing, distribution and intellectual property. She advises Canadian and international companies on all matters relating to franchising, licensing and distribution including legal and regulatory issues, contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property and compliance with Canadian franchise disclosure legislation.
Brittany attended law school at the University of Windsor, where she was a Senior Editorial Assistant for the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues and served as the Webmaster for the Students’ Law Society. She received the Kellerman Family Bursary for achievement in Securities Law. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Brittany worked as both a summer student and an articling student at the firm.
