The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has announced the appointment of Wendy Berman as Vice-Chair for a one-year term commencing June 22, 2020.
As a regulatory body, the OSC works to protect investors, foster fair and efficient markets, and contribute to the stability of the financial system by making and monitoring compliance with rules governing the securities industry in Ontario. The OSC consists of nine to 16 Commissioners, including a full-time Chair and two full-time Vice-Chairs.
