In February 2018, the Black Affinity Group sponsored several screenings of Marvel’s Black Panther movie for members of various Boys and Girls Clubs located in Toronto, Scarborough, and Vancouver.
Tickets for the movie were also purchased for youth at Hull Services (Calgary) and Meanwhile, Black In Vancouver (Vancouver).
The Black Affinity Group is grateful to have worked with Ossie Omokhodion, Executive Director, CIBC’s Institutional Structuring Group, Capital Markets Trading and Executive Sponsor of the CIBC Black Employee Network, who personally co-sponsored the Scarborough screening for the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough-Galloway.
